Has anyone ever heard of a board game called Dumb Luck from 1983 made by Games ‘n’ Things?
I recently stopped by the local Goodwill store and found a boardgame from 1983 called “Dumb Luck” made by Games ‘n’ Things. It was made in Vincentown, NJ. Is this a local board game that may have just been made in my area (I live in NJ). I’ve tried looking up information on it and the value of it, but I can’t seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Does anybody know what those those little word game things are called?
It is driving me crazy that I can’t think of what those word puzzles or games are called where you like try to get the word from how another word is written. Like for example if the word receiver is written really wide and long then the word you need to get out of it is “wide reciever” or like this one “ipoisev” would be poison ivy because the poise is in the letters I and V. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and what those are called?

I’ve always known them as ‘Dingbats’. Dingbats was a board game that utilized this concept offering many such puzzles such as the word ‘paper’ writtten repeatedly in a circle (Paper round). Their technical name is Rebuses (puzzles in which a common word or saying is hidden in a cryptic or otherwise unique arrangement of symbols) which comes from the Latin ‘Rebus’ meaning “By things”.

What are those art game things called?
It’s like you start with a piece of paper and it will say step #1 draw a straight line. step # 2 draw a circle. step #3 make 4 wavy line. ETC. Whats that called? you end up with your own cool thing. Like i use to do it in art class and everyone would have something different. You know what im sayin’?

Did anyone noticed a place called Play Things, a video game store opening on Bissonet & Highway 6?
It’s called Play Things Video Games and it’s opening on Bissonet & Highway 6 in Houston. I was wondering is this some chain from elsewhere or if it’s a mom & pop store.
